Is there a faster way to download images from our websites than ftp? I am trying to grab all photos from the site because I am editing them all and it is taking way too long... Anyone know a faster way to get them all in like 1 shot? It is taking like 2 minutes just to download 1 image? Not sure if it is because the server is slow, but really need to get them all... Anyone? Thanks!
FTP is the faster method. Right now, traffic on internet lines and servers will probably cause things to go slower because its the peak time of day. It could be your ISP causing the slowness as well, not just the servers.
When I do large downloads, I try to do them later at night after peak hours.
Thanks Jennifer! I will just keep rolling along like a snail, lol... I think it is also because some of the images are large files, I will be reducing them also, so this will help. I just have to be patient, lol ;)
Hey Jennifer I found a very fast and easy way!! If you go into your admin panel, file manager and go tot he folder where your images are stored, you can create a zip folder in there of all you images, then just go to www.sitename.com/fpdb/images/zipfile.zip (where ever you saved the zip file, then download the zip file and unzip. This was soooo freaking awesome and fast!! ;)
YYYEEEEEAAAAAAAA!!!! I could SO hug you right now!!! We need to reduce and watermark all of our silk print images and it is just an insanely daunting task to even think about!!! This will ROCK!!!
It would be sooooo nice if all these tricks were in one place. LIke a handbook.

There are a couple girls on here that have sites geared to helping wahmshoppes beginners, they should be adding these things to their sites. Ladies? Where are you? LOL Can you add there tidbits of tips to your sites and then post your site in the forum, maybe as a sticky... :)
